See below for resources to help with your mental health

If there is a resource you would like to see, please contact me.
This is being updated multiple times a day. Check back often.

In order to address the growing mental health need in response to the COVID-19 outbreak,
I will be providing free single sessions for individuals in need of support during this time.

Crisis Resources

  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255
    • 24-hour.
    • You do not have to be struggling with suicidal thoughts to call - you can call for any personal crisis.
    • Though this is a national number, it is a network of local call centers. Northeast Kansas' lifeline calls are fielded by the Headquarters Counseling Center in Lawrence, Kansas (stop by their website and DONATE).
  • National Crisis Text Line, text HOME to 741-741
    • 24-hour.
    • One of the biggest criticisms I get with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is you actually have to talk to a person on the phone. This resource instead relies on text messaging. You will get a trained professional on the other end.
  • Domestic Violence Hotline at 816-461-HOPE (4673)
    • 24-hour.
  • SAMHSA Disaster Distress Helpline at 1-800-985-5990
    • 24-hour.
  • Kansas Department of Health & Environment (KDHE) Coronavirus Hotline at 866-534-3463 (866-KDHEINF)
    • Monday thru Friday, 8 am-7 pm; Saturday, 10 am-2 pm; Sunday, 1-5 pm
  • Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS) Coronavirus Hotline at 877-435-8411
    • 24-hour
